[경제] Armenia - Lifeline Road Network Improvement Project

Ratings for the Lifeline Road Network Improvement Project (LRNIP) for Armenia were as follows: outcome and Bank performance was satisfactory and monitoring and evaluation (M and E) quality was substantial. Some lessons learned included: building upon successful implementation of a previous project can ensure efficient implementation and delivery of results. Though there remain challenges that this program still needs to fully address (such as creating an adequate culture of maintenance) the experience over the implementation of Lifeline Road Improvement Project (LRIP) and LRNIP highlights the key elements of such a program: strong project management capacity; development of protocols for prioritization, consultation; standardization of design approaches; and approaches to monitor cost, quality, and stakeholder input. Getting road sector funding and financing right require a continuous long-term effort.
