[사회] Jewish Dissidence in Communist Romania: Definition, Chronology, and Particularities
루마니아 국외연구자료 연구보고서 - Taylor & Francis 발간일 : 2025-01-11 등록일 : 2025-01-21 원문링크
At the end of the Second World War, Romania had one of the largest Jewish communities in Europe, with the number varying, according to different sources, from 360,000 to 430,000. In the next decades, almost all chose to leave the country. This was one of the earliest forms of dissidence against the new communist regime. This article looks at various definitions of dissidence and examines how they apply to the Jews of Romania. It pays particular attention to chronology and the way in which dissidence was impacted by the decrease of the Jewish community and by various state policies.
