The TA project supported the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program’s strategy of promoting new off-grid energy technologies. The TA project aimed at increasing or maintaining access to electricity in CAREC Program’s five member countries, such as Afghanistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia, Pakistan, and Tajikistan, by designing a plug-and-play solar power kit, including solar panels, lithium-ion batteries, and energy-efficient appliances.
This report validates the completion report's assessment of the TA. IED overall assessment is less than successful.
